Croquet X Machina and Ya Gotta Regatta at Black Rock Desert. Marshall Lyons and John Bogard created the giant croquet game in 1987, and returned two years later for the Ya Gotta Regatta windsailing event. These events lead directly to Burning Man arriving at the playa in 1990.
