I also want info on the '98 event. I am an amatuer photographer who wants to expore his creative side. I want to do something like this because it is different, and events like burning man will change the world. I want to capture that and be involved in something this important. Can anyone lend me a clue as to if ticket prices will drop from the current hundred dollars a pop to pay off the debt to the original 50 bucks in advance? rich- my name is spaceghost and i am the gate director for bman 98. i also monitor these bbs's for the project as well. negotiations are underway and as soon as they are finalized the site will be disclosed for all to see on these same pages. what i can tell you now is that labor day 1998 will be on sept 7 and so burning man officially starts the wedprior to that. that is the festival WILL take placesept 2nd thru sept 7th 1998. more to come soon -- spaceghost, November 17, 1997 at 11:32p

The electronic newsletter is still saying that Burning Man 98 will happen, but the location has not been chosen. It could be in the same location, it could be somewhere else in Nevada, or it could be in another state. I'm sure they will post an announcement on the web site as soon as the location is finalized. Could be same spot, could be elsewhere in Washoe County, could be ????? But, we will let you know when we know. I ordered two t-shirts and two caps and I have not received them. You have cashed my check, can I expect to still get these? The check was cashed before the event took place. I plan on being back next year and will make a donation with this paycheck. But I still would like to get my shirts and caps. This is the second time I have written asking for these. Hey, I know we are trying to go into the black; but when I sent in my fees for this years Burning Man there was a spot for T-Shirts and I marked it . Sent in 160.00 for two tickets at 65.00 each.
