COMMANDO RAID ON THE NAVAL RESERVE FLEET, SUISUN BAY INSTALLATION

This is it, for people who have been complaining about being bored with the Suicide Club later events. We will be infiltrating a perimeter of humongous naval ships anchored in Suisun Bay, they aren’t used but yet they have to be kept afloat or they’ll never get them out of there when they do decide to dismantle them. They are arranged in eight rows of about 15 ships each! Just barely touching one another, waiting until the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor again or until the Suicide Club takes them, whichever comes first. There is one guard house midway down the line of them, which is a pretty long line and we will be entering from one end canoeing to the side of the ship, where a few of us will climb up the anchor chain to the deck, drop a rope and pull our trusty rope ladder, about a forty-foot climb over water. We will be having Christmas dinner aboard them and we will explore them first and either have the dinner at the end of the night or whenever we see we are about to get caught, whichever comes first.

According to inside information the patrols are done in motor boats around the permieter of the ships. There are a good many reasons why they should never catch us or even expect anything. (1) It’s very difficult to even get to the shi8ps. We will be alternatively carrying and paddling the canoes over a series of locke and channels across a marsh area. It will be on Xmas night and it will be at night. The bay is used for fishing and boating sol only thing we can really be caught doing wrong is literally boarding or unboarding the ships. Witnessing this will be extremely difficult because our boats are so small that we will be in between the ships. So as well as we understand it, no one in boats as small as ours could get across the marsh and waterway (it is part of the ocean and rough) and no one with boats bigger than ours could hide where we’re going to hide.

Since being arrested for this could land us in U.S COMMISSIONERS COURT and a federal offense, it only makes sense to me that we make the arrest as enjoyable as possible. We’ll put aside several whole meals for the guard that catch us and all people that respond must do this: Be dressed in Renaissance, Medieval, Pirate, Buccaneer costumes - no one will be allowed to go that does not meet this requirement. Being arrested for climbing on WWII battleships while dressed as members of previous centuries is just to much. Our strategy will be to post several sentries, relieve them every 20 minutes and retire while and if the patrols pass us, retire to dinner if they prepare to board and let them “surprise us” while we are having a feast.

Registration for any event is a hassle: Send $4.00 to me, Gary Warne, 1323 11th Avenue, SF Ca. 94122, with your name and your commitment (written) to be in costume and whether or not you will not bring a car to the event.
