The Events section is your gateway to all you need to know about Burning Man 1997. Explore the Survival section and found out what you need to mentally and physically prepare yourself for Burning Man.

If you are preparing a Theme Camp or Village, you should register your site. You can also invite others to join your environment by using our interactive Theme Camp and Villages BBS. We encourage you to read and/or post to the Bulletin Boards, like the Ride Share information. Volunteers are always welcome. We have a list of email addresses so you can find the team whose talents and interests best match yours. Finally, you can communicate with members of the Burning Man 1997 production team and community a multitude of ways.

Throughout the year, Burning Man participants produce, assist with and attend other like-minded events. Check the Calendar frequently to keep up with what's going on, or to add your own event.

This June, members of The Burning Man Project produced Mysteria at the SOMAR Gallery in San Francisco, June 20 & 21, 27 & 28. In April, we were in New York at CBGB's for the initial launch of the Hardwired book, Burning Man.

Members of the press are invited to read this year's Press Overview. We will not be distributing a press kit before the event. We consider this web site to be the most complete body of information. However, feel free to ask questions of us. See also more upcoming events here.
